Napa, CA (May 7, 2021) – Blue Note Napa’s “Road Trip” to the Charles Krug Estate, one of Napa Valley’s oldest and most iconic vineyard estates located in St. Helena, CA, is weeks away from its inaugural concert. Temporarily presenting at Charles Krug Estate will allow Blue Note Napa to safely open outdoors during the ideal summer and early fall months, until it returns to the historic Napa Valley Opera House in October.
In addition to the great music, Blue Note Napa has announced a partnership with Tre Posti and renowned Chef Nash Cognetti to deliver an exceptional dining experience to the outdoor concert series guests. Chef Cognetti takes fresh local ingredients and gives them a Napa-Italian twist, resulting in a fusion that’s unique in the Valley.
Patrons can order from their server or directly from their phones and enjoy delicious menu items like Gulf Shrimp Ceviche, Kansas City BBQ Glazed Baby Back Ribs, or Ahi Tuna or Tofu Poke Bowl, all of course paired with Charles Krug Wines.
The concert series gets off to an exciting start with an eclectic mix of artists. May 20 will see The Billy Holiday project followed by Poolside and then Los Lobos and Pink Martini over Labor Day Weekend. The series continues with dozens of world-renowned musicians such as Chris Botti, Kenny G, KT Tunstall, Damien Escobar, Dave Koz and Friends, Arturo Sandoval, The Stanley Clarke Band, and many more through September.

ABOUT CHARLES KRUG WINERY
While known in his time as a pioneering visionary, it is doubtful that even Charles Krug could have foreseen how the humble winery he founded in 1861 would forever alter the American wine landscape. The ambitious Prussian immigrant transformed 540 acres of prime Napa Valley land that came to him through marriage to Carolina Bale, into the valley’s very first winery. Years later, another immigrant family ̶̶ the Mondavis from Italy ̶̶ would begin their own chapter at Charles Krug, rising to become the “first family” of American wine. charleskrug.com
