SALINAS, CA, March 24th, 2021 – Scheid Family Wines based in Monterey County, California, is pleased to announce Jennifer Evans as its new Marketing Director and Jennifer Genzoli as Brand Manager for Sunny with a Chance of Flowers, the trailblazing zero sugar, low alcohol, low calorie wine in the burgeoning “better for you” category.
Evans brings more than twenty years of extensive experience in all aspects of brand building, market analysis, product positioning, project management, and team leadership to her new position. Having joined Scheid Family Wines in 2017 as a Brand Manager, she quickly progressed to most recently serving as Senior Marketing Manager since 2019. Prior to this time, Evans held management positions at some of California’s top boutique design and communications companies, including Evans Marketing by Design and Matthews | Evans | Albertazzi. Evans lives in Carmel, California with her husband and two teenage children, and in her spare time enjoys hiking in the Monterey area.

Genzoli joins the Scheid team with over seven years of marketing experience, including five years of hands-on brand experience in the wine industry. Prior to her current position, Genzoli was the DTC Marketing Manager for Share A Splash Wine Company in Menlo Park where, with her keen eye for creative branding, she was responsible for building national retail strategies as well as focusing on new e-commerce and DTC initiatives. She served as Marketing Assistant for The Wine Group, contributing to the marketing strategies of premium and popular wine portfolios including FlipFlop wines, Franzia, Save Me San Francisco Wine Co., Slow Press Wines, and Concannon Vineyard. Genzoli also worked for Pebble Beach Resorts in Digital Marketing and served as a strategist for social media, executing live community engagement for Pebble Beach Food & Wine and other industry events.
