Integration eliminates manual processes and improves data accuracy so wineries can grow their businesses faster
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 13, 2021) – Ekos, a winery management software, is announcing a new integration with Commerce7, a leading DTC platform for wineries, cideries and breweries that provides point-of-sale (POS), ecommerce, and wine club capabilities. The integration will allow wineries to sync all Commerce7 transactions directly with Ekos to automatically deplete inventory and create invoices and journal entries in their connected accounting software.
Wineries with the Ekos – Commerce7 integration can realize many benefits that will help them better run and grow their businesses, including:
- Eliminate manual processes: Users can save 2+ hours a week, reduce data entry errors and automate inventory depletion and journal entry creation.
- Improve business visibility: With a central hub for inventory, sales and financial data, Ekos users can more accurately manage inventory and get insight into COGS and product margins.
- Keep data consistent across systems: Ekos customers can ditch spreadsheets in favor of digital methods, automating the flow of information across a fully-connected business management system.
“Commerce7 is a modern DTC platform for the wine industry that makes creating great consumer shopping experiences easy for wineries,” said Zach Kamphuis, sales manager at Commerce7. “Keeping inventory accurate is something many wineries struggle with, and so we’re excited about the integration with Ekos that allows wineries to sync their sales data directly with Ekos to keep inventory accurate and up to date.”
Ekos is continually updating its software and adding new integrations that help craft makers connect all of their technology in one central hub. The company recently announced integrations with Square and Arryved, two other direct-to-consumer sales platforms, and has had long-standing partnerships with accounting software providers, QuickBooks and Xero
“We do everything with our customer in mind and we’re always thinking about how we can make their day-to-day easier,” said Josh McKinney, CEO of Ekos. “Our integration with Commerce7 does just that – by eliminating manual processes and connecting systems – so our customers can save time, work more efficiently, and have more time to devote to growing their businesses.”
