Multiple Gold Medals and Double Gold Medal from 2020 Event
December 3, 2020 – Sonoma CA – Kenwood based Ledson Winery & Vineyards was recently awarded the Andre Tchelistcheff Winemaker of the Year award at the 2020 San Francisco International Wine Competition. The award is bestowed on the winemaking team with the most impressive portfolio of wine entries.
Competition organizer and esteemed wine critic Anthony Dias Blue had this to say, “This is evidence of the high quality of wines coming from this winery. Steve Ledson is an amazing winemaker and winning these awards is very impressive.”
In addition to the Winemaker Award the Ledson team won four additional awards including:
- Double Gold 95 points –2017 Sonoma Valley “Estate Old Vine” Barbera
- Gold medal, 2017 Sonoma Valley “Estate Vineyard” Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
- Gold medal, 2017 Howell Mountain “Old Vine” Zinfandel
- Gold medal, 2018 Dry Creek Valley “Old Vine” Zinfandel Reserve
