Holidays in Yountville: The Brightest Town in Napa Valley

Yountville NVYountville, CA – From November 22, 2020 through January 1, 2021, the Town of Yountville becomes the “Brightest Town in Napa Valley” during Holidays in Yountville, six weeks of holiday-related events, activities and shopping in the heart of the Napa Valley. 

An annual tradition, Holidays in Yountville offers the best and brightest cheer in Northern California’s Wine Country and 2020 will be bring much of the same, with additional opportunities to grab the Holiday spirit virtually from anywhere in the world.

Kicking off Holidays in Yountville is the Virtual Town & Tree Lighting, with special guest Santa, on Sunday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m., featuring tens of thousands of magical twinkling lights that light up the town. This virtual event will be available for viewing on both Facebook (@ExploreYountville) and Instagram (@YountvilleCA) pages, with a specially produced video tour of the lights through town released on Youtube on November 27, supplanting the Yule Log as the perfect virtual backdrop for cozy night in.

In addition to its famous holiday lights, Holidays in Yountville offers more than 50 virtual events and in-person experiences, including virtual wine tastings, wreath making, cooking classes, wine pairings and chocolate seminars, along with safe, socially distanced wine tastings, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner menus, holiday photo opportunities at Santa’s Village at the Yountville Community Center, and more. 

New for 2020 are the Yountville Holiday Gift Guide with over 25 wine country gift packages of wine, food, accessories and experiences inspired by the best of the Napa Valley, and the Yountville Community Cook Book, featuring 40 pages of favorite recipes from the wineries, restaurants and residents of wine country’s most charming town.

Finally, The Town of Yountville has partnered with the Napa Valley Wine Train to create a festive Santa’s Village in the center of town, a perfect al fresco spot for families with kids of all ages to comfortably take in the magic of the holidays.

In addition to all the virtual offerings, the Town of Yountville is open and invites visitors and locals alike to safely enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming Town of Yountville, taking in the thousands of twinkling holiday lights while safely exploring Yountville’s unique shops, tasting rooms, restaurants and hotels.

Yountville businesses are taking COVID-19 very seriously and have many new procedures in place to make sure guests are safe and comfortable. To stay off of Santa’s naughty list, the Town of Yountville reminds visitors to make a reservation, wear a mask until seated, and stay six feet apart while in public.
