Quintessential Wines Makes Additional Investments in Talent

The company’s recent growth includes eight team members who join in marketing and management roles

NAPA, CA (September 16, 2020) — Wine importing, marketing and sales company Quintessential has added six additional team members to support sales and marketing efforts within the organization. This announcement is the second of its kind in the last month, with the company continuing to invest in talent to support its growing portfolio. Bill O’Neill, Terri Richie, Bill Ballentine, Raquel Royers, Rachel Dimattia, Justin Matthews, Timothy Gordon and Edward Blakely have all have recently joined the growing organization to support new acquisitions and the company’s expansive portfolio of family-owned wines.

Bill O’Neill has joined as Tri-State Director and will be overseeing sales and operations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Bill began his career on-premise as a sommelier and bar manager for an independent restaurant group in New York. Over the last thirty years, his accomplishments have been numerous and include being named an Executive Board Member of the New York Alliance of Fine Wine Wholesalers.

Adding to an impressive resume of key and national account management, Terri Richie will further her career with Quintessential as the East Coast Chain Manager, based in Florida. Terri will be overseeing multi-unit accounts for the company, from Maine to Miami.

Veteran wine professional Bill Ballentine joins the group as Central Chain Manager, based in Texas. With nearly four decades of experience in the industry, he brings his expertise to Quintessential to oversee some of the largest wine retailers in the country.

Bringing her digital marketing savvy to the team is Raquel Royers, CSW, CSS, who joins Quintessential as Marketing Director. With extensive experience in social media and digital content management, Raquel joins the marketing team to oversee consumer-centric campaigns. Also entering the marketing team is Rachel Dimattia as Marketing Associate.

In addition, three area managers have been appointed to the Quintessential sales teams:

  • Justin Matthews, Central and North Florida District Manager
  • Edward Blakely, Southern Florida District Manager
  • Timothy Gordon, Illinois District Manager
