(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery is taking the popular Stella Rosa brand to the next level with the launch of Stella Rosa Royale. For years, Stella Rosa fans have asked for a wine with the same great flavor, but with more alcohol. Our response? Stella Rosa Royale.
Inspired by the classic Stella Rosa Rosso, Stella Rosa Royale is darker, bolder, and has a higher alcohol percentage than its predecessor at 8% compared to 5% in Rosso; however, Royale still maintains that semi-sweet, semi-sparkling taste that fans know and love. Born from rich, ripe grapes grown in the sun-drenched hills of Piemonte, Italy, its richer taste gives Stella Rosa Royale versatility, making it the perfect wine to pair with food.
Knowing this, the Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery hosted the ‘A BBQ fit for Royale, Pair-A-Thon” contest throughout August. For a chance to win $5,000 cash and prizes from Big Green Egg and Devil’s Lump Charcoal, fans submitted their favorite original barbeque recipes to pair with the new Stella Rosa Royale.
Winners were selected by three celebrity judges: Chef Tregaye (Winner of Season 12 Food Network Star), Chef Jimmy Ho (Texas Top 50 BBQ winner and BBQ Influencer), and Chef AC (Orange County BBQ Celebrity Chef). The winners will be featured in a forthcoming Stella Rosa cookbook, released later this year.
