SALINAS, California – June 24, 2020 – Scheid Family Wines of Monterey County, California is proud to announce the release of the 2018 vintage of their District 7 brand, along with a new and more consumer-friendly design that highlights a message of sustainability and the “Monterey style” of each variety.

New on the outside, yet consistent with the brand’s essence on the inside, the 2018 vintage of District 7 offers wines that are fruit forward, true to varietal character and compelling. The Chardonnay label adopts yellow hues, a reflection of the sunshine in the region and subtle buttery notes from aging with oak. The Pinot Noir’s blue-toned label reflects the Monterey Bay and its maritime influence that is a hallmark of the Monterey growing region. The Cabernet’s darker label suggests the robust, rich and earthy taste of the District 7 Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the southernmost part of the county.
