St. Helena, Napa Valley, June 2020 — The Spring Mountain District Association announces new Board officers. President is Meg Laughridge; Vice President is Matt Sherwin; Treasurer is Reilly Keenan; Secretary is Kevin Hague; member at large is Julie Ann Kodmur. The Association works to generate awareness and respect of the Spring Mountain District growing region.
Meg Laughridge is the Director of Hospitality at Vineyard 7 & 8. Born on Spring Mountain and raised in Napa Valley, Meg began her career studying Hematology and working at The Queen of the Valley. Her love of science brought her into wine where she started her new path in wine at Harlan Estate. Meg has been with Vineyard 7 & 8 for nearly six years and loves the vast and beautiful Spring Mountain. “My goal as Board President for the Spring Mountain District Association is to bring these extraordinary people and wines together. To share this special place with the world,” she adds.
Matt Sherwin is the GM at Sherwin Family Vineyards.
Reilly Keenan is in charge of Business Development at Keenan Winery.
Kevin Hague is the Retail Sales Manager at Barnett Vineyards.
Julie Ann Kodmur is the publicist for Smith-Madrone Vineyards & Winery. She is a St. Helena-based wine industry publicist and freelance writer.
Established in 1993, Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain District lies above St. Helena on the eastern slopes of the Mayacama Mountains. With only 1,000 acres of vineyards, the appellation is home to roughly 30 small and mostly family-owned vineyards and wineries.
