Kendall-Jackson is offering Wine & Food Dining on the Patio and La Crema Launches Scenic Walking Tours & Picnicking at its Saralee’s Vineyard Estate
On Sunday, May 24, 2020, Kendall-Jackson will begin welcoming back guests to the winery’s outdoor patio. State and County officials have lifted restrictions allowing Kendall-Jackson to re-open with its renowned food and wine experiences. Guests will savor the aromatic essence of a four-course food & wine pairing from Executive Chef Justin Wangler and his team, paired with a selection of Kendall-Jackson’s small-production, limited-release wines. The experiences will take place outdoors with social distancing and other preventive measures and will include staff wearing facial coverings and thoroughly sanitizing surfaces prior to and following all visits. To limit the number of guests, reservations will be required.
Additionally, Kendall-Jackson encourages visitors to take a stroll through Kendall-Jackson’s stunning four-acre culinary gardens. The gardens are a core component of Kendall-Jackson’s commitment to the very best in food and wine. They are designed in seven distinct garden spaces offering a seasonal abundance of sight, smell, and taste; some are educational in nature, some planted solely for beauty, and others provide the fruit, vegetables, and herbs that inspire the Food & Wine Pairings.

La Crema Re-Opening Details:
La Crema at Saralee’s Vineyard will open its doors with a customized outdoor experience. On Sunday, May 24, 2020, La Crema is offering walking tours to explore the vineyards and take in the beautiful vistas of the picturesque Russian River Valley wine growing region at La Crema’s historic estate at Saralee’s Vineyard. Upon conclusion of the walking tour, guests will receive a pre-packed cheese and charcuterie picnic box with an estate wine to continue the La Crema outdoor experience at home or on the Estate, including at Richard’s Grove, the beautiful, expansive great lawn adjacent to the vineyards. The experience is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a picnic.

SAFETY:
Both Kendall-Jackson and La Crema have prioritized safety and have been preparing to reopen by conducting trainings with its tasting room and culinary staff, including rehearsals of the guest experiences. All staff will be wearing facial coverings, conducting pre-shift health screenings, and thoroughly sanitizing surfaces prior to and following all visits. They are providing hand sanitizing stations for guests, using limited contact protocols for all transactions and following all the hygiene and health requirements consistent with CDC guidelines.
