About Ram’s Gate Winery
Ram’s Gate Winery, located at 28700 Arnold Dr., first opened in the fall of 2011 as a place to press pause and savor small-lot fine wines from coveted Sonoma and Carneros vineyards. Today, the wines are made by Director of Winemaking Joe Nielsen, backed by an exceptional culinary team focused on creating thoughtful, locally sourced, plated pairings. The tasting room is surrounded by the Ram’s Gate Estate Vineyard which is encompasses 28 acres. In addition, Ram’s Gate sources from the marquee vineyards of Sonoma including Sonoma Coast’s famed Durell and Gap’s Crown Vineyards, Ulises Valdez’s admired Russian River portfolio, the Sangiacomo family’s Roberts Road Vineyards and from Carneros, Hyde Vineyard and Hudson Ranch. The state-of-the-art tasting room was designed by award-winning Architect Howard Backen, and offers a variety of tasting experiences, all designed to complement the wines with sweeping vineyard views, jovial company and hand-crafted food pairings. In light of recent restrictions placed on California wineries, the Tasting Room is temporarily closed starting March 16 and will re-open as soon as restrictions have been lifted and the Ram’s Gate team feels it is safe for both guests and employees. During this times, Ram’s Gate will be offering curbside pickup from 11 – 3, Thursday through Sunday for bottles of wine, small bites and Ram’s Gate merchandise.
