PEBBLE BEACH, CALIF. (MARCH 12, 2020) – Pebble Beach Company announced today the 2020 Pebble Beach Food & Wine is canceled. The well-being of our guests, staff and community is paramount, and in light of the continued uncertainty and potential health risks posed by COVID-19, the annual festival, originally scheduled for April 16 to 19, will not proceed as planned.
The Pebble Beach Food & Wine event has been a beloved program for the Monterey Peninsula for 12 years and draws 5,000 attendees from around the world for the four-day festival. Pebble Beach Company’s decision follows the recommendation of public health agencies to minimize events that bring together 250 or more people in a single venue.
We look forward to announcing future dates for this premier epicurean event once the COVID-19 situation stabilizes. All tickets bought on the 2020 Pebble Beach Food & Wine website, www.pbfw.com, will be refunded and those purchasers will be notified directly on the process of obtaining a refund. Corporate sponsors, wineries and chefs will be contacted directly by our sales and operations team.
