An official partnership with plans for in-stadium wine specials, VIP giveaways, and more
New Rochelle, NY – March 9th, 2020 – As baseball season begins, Tussock Jumper international wine portfolio starts their second season as an official Partner of the New York Mets.
Imported into the United States by Tri-Vin Imports, ballpark guests can once again enjoy high quality wine varietals from around the world at each Mets home game, including an Italian Prosecco, a French Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and a German Riesling.
Tussock Jumper will also be available in Citi Field’s in-seat menu, with a Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio in single serve recyclable sizes.
“We are honored to partner once again with the New York Mets in 2020,” said Marc Oliveira, President of Tri-Vin Imports and co-founder of Tussock Jumper Wines. “We had tremendous success at Citi Field last year, and helped their team hit a 136% increase in wine sales from the previous year. Our wine cocktails were also a huge hit with guests, as well as outside of the stadium. We look forward to sharing Tussock Jumper’s food-friendly wines and cocktails with stadium visitors this baseball season, and sharing these new and exciting regions.”
Tussock Jumper will also be partnering with NYC-made Tipsy Scoop on a boozy float for Citi Field guests. The retro-inspired drink will feature Tipsy’s strawberry white sangria sorbet topped with Tussock Jumper’s sparkling Prosecco-a sweet and bubbly way to cheer for your favorite team. The Mets pre-game shows will also feature Tussock Jumper in fun food and wine mashups, inspiring guests with tips on what to eat and drink at each game.
Tussock Jumper’s marketing agency of record, FK Interactive, will manage wine pairings for Citi Field, out-of-home advertising, in-ballpark television advertising, public relations, and strategic opportunities with travel and lifestyle partners. Said Kevin Rosen, CEO of FK, “Americans love the Tussock Jumper brand, and we’re proud to continue to support their ongoing growth here in the United States market.”
