Los Angeles, Feb. 3, 2020 – Starting today, Cornell Winery & Tasting Room will feature three of Nectar of the Dogs Wine’s most popular varietals in its tasting room and retail space. Available to taste and purchase are the 2016 Rosé of Malbec, 2015 Chardonnay or the bold red blend, CCF MikMurphy. Visit the tasting room tucked away in the Santa Monica Mountains at 29975 Mulholland Highway in the historic city of Cornell (Agoura Hills) and help Nectar of the Dogs Wine continue its mission to celebrate good wine and dogs.
Dedicated to supporting dog rescue organizations, Nectar of the Dogs Wine donates a portion of all proceeds directly to groups committed to helping dogs in need. So, when you purchase, and pop open a bottle of Nectar of the Dogs Wine you’re drinking for a great cause. Nectar of the Dogs Wine will be available at Cornell Winery & Tasting Room while supplies last.
Nectar of the Dogs Wine varietals being offered at Cornell Winery & Tasting Room include:
- 2016 Rosé of Malbec: This wine comes from 100% Malbec grapes, barely kissed by the skins. It brings to mind aromas of spring blossoms and fruit. It’s elegant and balanced structure has a finale of wild strawberries and peach.
- 2015 Chardonnay: Grown from a single vineyard in Lodi, this unoaked Chardonnay is fresh and lively with aromas of green apple and pear. It leaves a splash of honeysuckle on the palate with a creamy vanilla finish.
- CCF MikMurphy: From the esteemed Estrella and Templeton Gap districts of Paso Robles, this blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc. It was aged in 100% French Oak from 18-27 months. It has a beautiful mouthfeel and lush aromas of berries and smoke.

Starting at 2 p.m.-4 p.m. co-founder Melanie Garibay will be on-hand to share the Nectar of the Dogs Wine story as Chiquita’s Friends host a special dog adoption event featuring an adorable group of puppies rescued from the streets of Mexico.
