Napa, Calif., December 4, 2019 – Atlas Vineyard Management, Inc. has acquired the premier vineyard management company, Northwest Vineyard Service, Inc, operating in premium AVA’s in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon.
The acquisition includes a great client portfolio with approximately 450 vineyard acres. The employees of Northwest Vineyard Service Company have all accepted offers to join the Atlas Vineyard Management team securing continuity and a smooth transition for all the clients.
Northwest Vineyard Service (NVS) was founded in 1998 by Bob Bailey. NVS provided full vineyard management services including site selection, development, and customized farming. Bailey has been in vineyard management for over 46 years and was looking for a viable succession plan. He reached out to Atlas, who just in August purchased Bowland Vineyard Management in Sonoma County. “I felt a great connection with Atlas after our first meeting and was confident in their ability to take great care of my clients and employees,” says Bailey. Bailey will be retiring to spend more time with his wife and grandchildren following the sale.
“We are humbled that Bob reached out to us. I have admired Bob over the years and have always respected his team and the great work they do. We are looking forward to getting to know our new clients and are excited to offer an expanded footprint for the Oregon wine industry which we are proud to be part of,” says Barry Belli, Co-founder, and CEO of Atlas Vineyard Management.
