Family-friendly activities, food and wine, artisan-made wares and mixology contest offer something for everyone during final Locals Night Out of 2019
Napa, CA (July 16, 2019) – Christmas in July is coming to the final Locals Night Out of the 2019 summer season on Wednesday, July 31. This new outdoor event series, which kicked off in June 2019, welcomes the community to First Street Napa for a weekly gathering with live music and curated artisan wares, along with fine food, wine and craft beer. Bringing some jolly cheer to the heat of the summer, Santa will join the festivities.
How does Santa spend his off-season? He’ll be showing off his summer style from 5:30-7 p.m., complete with his sleigh and lots of photo opportunities. It’s never too early to start searching for the perfect gift, so special offerings will be on display from merchants throughout the development. The First Street Napa community offers distinctive fashion, gift and décor retailers, fine wine and dining options, along with a boutique hotel and creative office spaces.
“Locals Night Out brings a new kind of energy to Downtown Napa, giving our Napa Valley neighbors and visitors alike a place to unwind and mingle in a vibrant, casual atmosphere,” said Todd Zapolski, principal and managing member, First Street Napa. “For the final evening of the 2019 series, we’re having a bit of fun with our large-scale art installations and incorporating Santa in our Winter Wonderland scene.”
The event is also the culmination of the Mix Masters Cocktail Competition. Local bartenders will be developing new drinks for a chance to win the grand prize, a giant engraved shaker, a two-night stay at Archer Hotel Napa, a $250 gift certificate to Charlie Palmer Steak Napa and a check for $1,000. Charlie Palmer will present the cocktails, and the first 200 guests will be able to sample the entries for $1 and decide the People’s Choice Award winner.
First Street Napa also recently launched #FSNCommunity, a social campaign highlighting the diverse personalities who make the development so unique. Follow along on Facebook and Instagram, @FirstStreetNapa, for an insider’s view of the cool vibe, the people and the establishments in the best-in-class shopping and dining destination.
