Rhône Valley Vineyards Takes Manhattan with RVV Wine Bar Campaign Targeting Trade, Media and Consumers in June 2019

New York, NY May 13, 2019: Rhône Valley Vineyards is delighted to launch RVV Wine Bar, a month-long June 2019 campaign. RVV Wine Bar showcases the wines, history and passionate producers of this renowned French region in four dynamic restaurants across New York City. Each of the four participating restaurants will host a week-long series of events ranging from happy hours to tastings and trade dinners.

Rhône Valley vineyards run along the banks of the Rhône river between Vienne and Avignon in southeastern France. The region’s warm, sunny climate—along with the influence of the Mistral wind—has allowed vine-growing and winemaking to thrive for over 2,000 years.

Known for its high-quality offerings and range of styles, the region’s wines are expressive and versatile while sharing a regional character defined by rich and concentrated flavors. The RVV Wine Bar program will highlight everything from complex Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blends to aromatic Roussanne, Marsanne, Clairette or Viognier crus and structured rosés with age-ability.

“The Rhône Valley has an almost magical mystique to it — from its natural beauty to the classic wines produced here. It’s a region where you can really start to understand how terroir impacts the character of a wine,” says Ardesia Wine Bar Owner and Wine Director, Mandy Oser.

“I am excited to demystify Rhône Valley Vineyards a bit, and show guests that there is much to be discovered that is both unique and completely accessible. I think the RVV Wine Bar is a perfect vehicle to introduce guests to some great wines of the region in a casual, approachable way.”
